Natasha Giggs slammed for 'Mum Of the Year' nomination

London, Mar 3 (ANI): Natasha Giggs has been bombarded with threats and hate messages over her nomination for Celebrity Mum Of the Year.

Cyber sickos attacked the mother-of-two minutes after it was announced that she was up for the 2012 award.

They branded her a "slut" and a "whore" and even suggested that twisted serial killer Rose West was a better mum.

Twitter attackers said her eight-year fling with footballer brother-in-law Ryan Giggs should rule her out of the contest.

They sneered that she had heaped shame on her children by "sh*gging their uncle" and deserved a "whore of the year" gong.

"She's up for mum of the year!! More like slut of the year," the Daily Star quoted one Twitter user as messaging.

Most of the other jibes, threats and hate messages aimed at the 29-year-old are too sick to reprint in a family newspaper.

However, Natasha hit back by branding her tormentors bullies and saying her two children were an inspiration.

She also claimed her estranged husband Rhodri Giggs, 34, had been approached to tell "negative" stories about what kind of mum she is.

"With the grief I'm getting, I wish they hadn't put me up for this award," she admitted.

She and Rhodri have two sons, Liam, 10, and Louis, five.

Just a month ago, Natasha called in police after a stalker threatened to "rip" and kill her.

David Cameron's wife Samantha, 40, and Welsh singer Charlotte Church, 26, are also in the running for the Foxy Bingo title.

Natasha's fellow 'Celebrity Big Brother' stars Denise Welch, 53, and WAG Nicola McLean, 30, are other nominations. (ANI)
