Beckham set to begin Olympic preparations with Great Britain teammates

London, Mar 2(ANI): Football star David Beckham and his Great Britain teammates are set to begin their preparations for the London Olympics this year in sunny Middlesbrough.

Beckham is almost a certainty in Great Britain team for the Olympics under manager Stuart Pearce and he is likely to get together for the first time on Teesside this summer

The Football Association, who are running the British sides at 2012, have penciled in a training camp and friendly match for Pearce's players and Hope Powell's women's team in July.

Both squads will train at Boro's Rockcliffe Park training complex before friendlies at the Riverside Stadium. (ANI)
