New Delhi, Mar 1 (ANI): Instead of following the rigmarole of promotion, Tusshar Kapoor decided to do it in a very unconventional manner for his latest film 'Char Din Ki Chandani'.
Tusshar along with his leading lady, Kulraj Randhawa, unveiled the first-ever outdoor banner of the romantic comedy directly to the public at Mumbai.
Since Tusshar plays the character of a Sikh, he donned a turban at the event.
"We wanted to reveal the outdoor hoarding of the film in front of the public, because usually in Mumbai, such an event has never happened. Music launches take place, promos and the first look of the film is launched on television, but an outdoor banner is never launched," Tusshar said.
"So, we thought we should launch an outdoor banner so that at least people find out that the film is going to release on 8th March. Our film is releasing on Holi (Colour festival). Most of the public who go around here and there goes to the theatre after seeing the banner. So, we thought of promoting our film in an unconventional manner," he explained.
Meanwhile, the lady 28-year-old actress felt that since it is a vibrant film it would surely strike the right chord among the youth of the country.
"Our film is releasing on 8th March, which is on Holi and we are coinciding it with this festival because it is a very colourful film and it is a very vibrant film in terms of everything, it is very energetic. On 8thMarch it is a full moon night, so we thought of releasing the film on this date," Randhawa said.
The flick is directed and produced by Samir Karnik. (ANI)
