London, Mar.1 (ANI): Former England football star George Best's ex-wife has decided to take legal action against the owners of the News Of The World over the alleged hacking of her phone.
A Sky News report said Alex Best's lawyers have lodged papers at the High Court in London.
The papers allege that her phone was hacked during the time particularly when George Best was very ill with liver disease and around the time when he died. They allege that the hacking went on for a long period of time and was very intrusive.
Alex also claims that she was harassed, and there was a lot of long lens photographs and surveillance carried out.
Alex and George Best got divorced 18 months before the legendary ex-footballer died in 2005 from multiple organ failure aged 59. (ANI)
