Natalie Portman sparks wedding rumours with new ring

New York, Feb 28 (ANI): Natalie Portman has sparked off marriage rumours after she flashed a new ring on her left hand when she presented an award at the Oscars.

TV viewers caught sight of something shiny and new right next to her large engagement ring when she gave away the Best Actor award to 'The Artist' star Jean Dujardin on Sunday.

The 30-year-old actress got engaged to 'Black Swan' choreographer Benjamin Millepied in December 2010, and new bands on both of their ring fingers at the award ceremony have the rumour mills churning that the pair are, in fact, already married.

Portman, who donned a vintage Christian Dior Couture gown to the event, is notoriously mum about her private life, so an under-the-radar marriage would not be completely unexpected.

When she was pregnant with son Aleph, now 7 months, the actress said that she looked forward to laying low.

"I hope I'll get to lie in bed and eat popcorn and watch TV for the rest of it," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People magazine at the time.

"Not always be out in public looking like a whale," she said. (ANI)
