Islamabad, Feb 27 (ANI): The Balochistan government has received a notification that formalizes the quashing of the cases registered against top Baloch nationalist leaders.
The Nation quoted the Balochistan Home Secretary as saying that the federal government had sent the notification, which directed for disposing of all cases involving Hyrbyair Marri, Brahamdagh Bugti and Akhtar Mengal.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik had announced three days ago that all cases against the Baloch leaders would be scrapped, before asking them to return to Pakistan for talks for tackling the fragile situation in the province.
The three popular leaders are the scions of top Baloch chieftains and enjoy support right across the province. (ANI)
