Simon's just afraid of me, says Nicole Scherzinger

London, Feb 27 (ANI): Axed X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger has hit back at Simon Cowell over his 'ditzy daffy duck' comment saying that the TV mogul is scared of her.

Cowell, 52, had described the ex Pussycat Doll as having "Daffy Duck's brain" but the beauty of cartoon character Jessica Rabbit, last year.

"I know I'm not ditzy like Daffy Duck. If I seem that way, maybe it's just me being coy. Simon's just afraid of me," the Mirror quoted Scherzinger as telling Vibe magazine.

Talking of the show Nicole, 33, who is back with F1 ace Lewis Hamilton, also spoke about her experience with the reality show.

"I think the biggest thing I have for me is my heart, as cheesy as that sounds. I cared so much about the contestants and wanted to make sure we bring out the best in them," she said.

The singer replaced Cheryl Cole on the panel when the Girls Aloud star was sacked after a fortnight on the show. Scherzinger, who had been a co-presenter alongside Steve Jones, will not be returning for the second series.

"It wasn't anything negative about them," Cowell said of the ladies on the panel. (ANI)
