London, Feb 27(ANI): Footballer Mark McCammon is bringing a claim of race discrimination against his former League Two club Gillingham FC.
McCammon claims that he and other black players were treated differently to other white players.
"I'm hopeful that truth will prevail but I can't comment any further at this stage," The BBC quoted McCammon, as saying.
Gillingham has rejected Barbados international McCammon's claims and a club spokesperson said: "The allegations made by Mark McCammon are wholly rejected by the club."
McCammon is bringing a claim for race discrimination and unfair dismissal against his former club and its chairman, Paul Scally. (ANI)
