New York, Feb.27 (ANI): Jackson Heights, in New York's Queens area has acquired a notoriety of sorts, for believe it or not, you can get you phony green card, social security and a license in just one hour and for 260 dollars.
A New York Post reporter, who got all three documents from a stranger on a corner, achieved this.
The cards are frighteningly real - convincing enough to fool creditors, potential employers and security at buildings and even the airport.
Experts said the biggest fear is that people who slipped past border crossings are buying these IDs.
Jackson Heights has at least 10 identity-card forgery mills.
John Cutter, a retired NYPD deputy chief of the Intelligence Division, has admitted that this whole operation is quite real and scary. (ANI)
