Blue Ivy goes out with parents Beyonce and Jay-Z for first time

New York, Feb 26 (ANI): Beyonce Knowles and rapper hubby Jay-Z took their daughter Blue Ivy Carter out for the first time in New York City.

Swaddled in a blue blanket that hid her baby face, Blue Ivy was photographed Saturday in mum Beyonce's arms, with dad Jay-Z standing by.

The young family was spotted outside West Village eatery Sant Ambroeus, where a manager confirmed they were heading out for lunch.

They were photographed stepping out of a Mercedes-Benz van, like the one that took Blue Ivy home from Lenox Hill Hospital after her birth just seven weeks ago, the New York Daily News reported.

While the infant had not been seen in public until Saturday, her proud parents released her first photos on a Tumblr blog, HelloBlueIvyCarter.com, earlier this month.

"We welcome you to share in our joy," a message accompanying the photos said.

"Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives," the message read. (ANI)
