London, Feb 25 (ANI): Ashley Cole's house is reportedly being rented by the wife of Britain's most feared crime boss.
Ruth Adams, 51, pays about 1,500 pounds a month to rent the Chelsea defender's three-bedroom cottage.
Her husband Terry, 57, a fan of Chelsea's London rivals Arsenal also lived at the property for 17 months between prison sentences.
He moved in to the 600,000-pound home in Barnet, North London, after his release from a seven-year stretch for money laundering, before being jailed again last year.
Neighbours often see Ruth, who married Adams 29 years ago, driving a top-of-the-range Lexus.
"It's funny that it's Cole's house because Terry is an avid Arsenal fan and was once linked to buying the Gunners," the Sun quoted a local as saying.
"Ruth is very polite but won't engage you in conversation for long. She's still close to her husband," the local added.
Adams has been compared to TV gangster Tony Soprano, and his gang are rumoured to be responsible for 25 murders. (ANI)
