Bangalore, Feb.23 (ANI): A Bangalore court will on Thursday resume hearing of the disproportionate assets case filed against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa and her former close aide Sasikala. The latter will appear for the hearing today.

Sasikala had at the last hearing given a clean chit to Jayalalithaa.

Sasikala is also one of the main accused in a case that alleges that Jayalalithaa misused her office from 1991-1996 to collect unaccounted assets worth Rs 66 crore.

Jayalalithaa had earlier objected to being summoned by the court, but the Supreme Court ordered her to appear in person to answer questions. (ANI)
