New York, Feb 17 (ANI): Tareq Salahi, who gained notoriety in 2009 after crashing a White House dinner with his now estranged wife Michaele Salahi, is suing her over an affair with Journey guitarist Neal Schon.
He claims that the affair was part of a calculated attempt to make money for herself and the band at his expense.
Tareq and Michaele had tied the knot in 2003, but are now going through a divorce.
The 50 million dollar lawsuit was filed Monday in Virginia. Tareq says Michaele's actions have ruined him "physically, emotionally and financially," the New York Daily News reported.
The Northern Virginia Daily reported that Tareq accuses his wife of running away with the guitarist in September and "campaigning to show him as a buffoon with respect to that affair and humiliating him." (ANI)
