London, Feb 17(ANI): Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said it would mean a lot to him if he wins the Champion League trophy with the Blues.
The Champions League medal has eluded the Ivory Coast striker for the last eight years despite reaching three semi-finals and a finalist once.
Drogba admits that had he quit Chelsea, he might have won it with some another club but it wouldn't be the same as it would be with Chelsea.
"I could go to any other team playing in the Champions League and maybe win it, but admitted it would never be the same as if I did it for Chelsea," The Sun quoted Drogba, as saying.
"With the history of our different campaigns, to win it for Chelsea would mean more to me than if I did it playing for Barcelona or another team," he said.
He said although his side's chances of winning the Champions League this year are less, his team needs to believe in themselves.
"It would be nice somewhere else but not the same. You have to believe, even if there are not a lot of green signals or green lights saying Chelsea could win the Champions League this season," he added.
The Londoners will travel to face Italian team Napoli next Tuesday in their last 16, first-leg clash. (ANI)
