New York, Feb 16 (ANI): Former Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair has spoken out about the alleged assault by Hugh Hefner's son that led to his arrest over the weekend.
Sinclair said that Marston, 21, had been "unstable throughout [their two-year] relationship" and that he was stressed over moving into a new apartment Sunday night when emotions ran high.
"We got into an argument about something really silly and it kind of escalated and it became violent," the New York Post quoted her as telling E! News.
"Initially, he kicked me and I went backwards, I fell.
"Then he punched me and grabbed me up, and I scratched him to defend myself. It was very shocking," she said.
Cops were called and found the 20-year-old Sinclair with bruises and red marks on her arms.
The Playboy boss' son admitted that the two had argued but denied he had hit Sinclair.
He was arrested on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and was later released on 20,000-dollar bail .
Sinclair, the 2011 Playmate of the Year, said that no one from Hefner's camp had reached out to her in the wake of the incident.
"No support. Nobody's empathetic or concerned. It's more like, cover it up and protect the image.
"In one aspect, I'm ridiculously offended by the way things are being handled, on the other aspect, I understand.
"It's family ... they need to at least recognize what has happened and apologize for what has happened," she said.
Sinclair added that the pair are no longer together. (ANI)
