Islamabad, Feb 15 (ANI): Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) reportedly carried two passengers on its flight from Lahore to Karachi in the toilet due to non-availability of seats.
The captain of the national flag carriers' flight PK 303 accommodated two passengers in the plane's toilet, as all the seats in the plane were occupied and there was no more seats left for them, The News reports.
The woes continue for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) with ongoing losses amid allegations of mismanagement, deteriorating economic conditions and a worsening corporate image for the national carrier.
Last week, Pakistan Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar had said that the government had provided three billion rupees to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to overcome its losses.
The minister while winding up debate on the overall performance of PIA in Senate, however, said that PIA management was helpless to redress most of the problems being faced by the national flag carrier due to lack of funds. He said the management solely could not be blamed for the crisis being faced by the airline. (ANI)
