Sydney, Feb 14 (ANI): Demand for sex toys surged on Valentine's Day, with a number of Australian men looking forward to spend their night with plastic partners.
Online marketplace Alibaba.com has recently been flooded with inquiries for sex dolls, vibrators and dildos.
Searches for plastic partners alone increased by 240 per cent year on year.
Sex dolls were the most searched for sex toy on the site by Australian buyers, accounting for 44 per cent of inquiries in that category between July and December 2011, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Alibaba.com director of international business development and marketing Asia Pacific, Daphne Lee, said that for some Aussies, Valentine's Day would be celebrated singly.
"Sex toys are now mainstream and for many retailers who sell them, Valentine's Day is the busiest day of the year," she said. (ANI)
