Melbourne, Feb 14 (ANI): Most Australians call their loved ones 'babes', a new survey has revealed.
The next three spots are also occupied by names that recall a time when we were cuter, cuddlier and utterly loveable: Bub/s, Baby and Bubba, News.com.au reported.
The survey took into consideration over 2500 people. Women were slightly more likely than men to call their partner Babes, while men were much more likely to call their lover the 9th and 10th most popular responses - Chook and Pumpkin.
But there were many more creative responses. Some praised their partner's physical attributes - Captain Long Schlong and Colonel Fancy Pants and, for example. One saluted their partner's kitchen prowess (the Pancake Ninja).
Others apparently showed a strain in relations, Harvey Norman (No Interest for Years!) and Life At The Turn Of The Century among them.
The top 10 most popular nicknames for lovers were:
Babe
Bub/s
Baby
Bubba
Honey
Bunny
Pookie
Princess
Chook
Pumpkin (ANI)
