Melbourne, Feb 12(ANI): Australian pace bowler Brett Lee, who is set to return in Sydney for the February 17 game, has warned Sri Lanka of a barrage of missiles exceeding speeds of 150 kilometre per hour.
Lee was expected to miss the rest of the summer when he fractured his toe on his right foot during Australia's Twenty20 defeat to India in Melbourne.
He expected his return at the Sydney Cricket Ground would come down to his pain threshold.
"I'm striving to be back for the game in Sydney, I'm doing everything I possibly can to play. I've [played with pain] on numerous occasions and I know I can play with a broken toe," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Lee, as saying.
""There was a ball in I delivered in the Twenty20 [in Melbourne] which may've surprised a lot of people because I think some of them didn't believe I could break 150km/h at my age. To hit 151 or 152 or whatever it felt great," he added. (ANI)
