Doha, Feb 8 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said his country is in favour of a peace process in Afghanistan, but stressed that it should not affect his country in any way.
Talking to Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani at the Amiri Diwan, Gilani said that addressing the issues of unemployment and illiteracy in Afghanistan could help control extremism and terrorism in the long run, the Daily Times reports.
He said the solution to the 'Afghan problem' must be left for its people to decide.
Pakistan, he said, paid a huge price in the war against terrorism. (ANI)
