Woman Baloch minister resigns over Domki wife-daughter killing

Quetta, Feb 6 (ANI): Nasreen Rehman Khetran, a minister in the Balochistan Government, has resigned in protest over the brutal killing of lawmaker Mir Bakhtiar Domki's wife and daughter.

 

Khetran, who is the wife of Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, belongs to the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), The Dawn reports.

 

Domki's wife was the sister of Brahmadagh Bugti and the granddaughter of Nawab Akbar Bugti who was killed in 2006.

 

Proceedings in the provincial assembly were cut short on Friday following a protest by legislators over the killings in Karachi.

 

On Monday, several members of the Domki clan staged a protest in Jacobadad. (ANI)
