Beijing, Feb 6 (ANI): Three Tibetans have reportedly set themselves on fire in protest against China's political and religious repression.
According to the US-based Radio Free Asia, they had called for the return of the Dalai Lama during a protest in Sichuan province.
The latest immolations took place in a village in Seda County on Friday.
Exiled activists said one Tibetan had died, while the others had serious injuries.
The UK-based Free Tibet Group issued a statement with a similar account of the incident.
An unnamed official, however, claimed that 'no such thing had happened,' The BBC reports.
If reports confirmed, the latest protest would mean 19 Tibetans had self-immolated in the past year and 13 of them had died. (ANI)
