New Delhi, Feb 6 (ANI): Farhan Akhtar has defended the statement made by his pal Akshaye Khanna, who recently said that he was upset with the director of 'Dil Chahte Hai'
According to the rumour mill, the 36-year-old actor had said that he was "angry with all of them", including Skhtar and 'Race' director duo Abbas-Mustan, for not offering him roles in their new flicks.
As for Akhtar, he insisted that the outburst was nothing but a "joke".
"There's nothing to be offended by. I know Akshaye really well. And sometimes, people misunderstand his humour," he said.
"He has told me the same thing in person, 'I am very upset with you. You have never worked with me again.' But that's Akshaye and he's a dear friend," he added. (ANI)
