Washington, Feb 3 (ANI): A Taiwanese electronics manufacturer has created an advertisement that shows a Steve Jobs impersonator promoting a new device called 'Action Pad'.
In the commercial, an actor stands alone on stage in jeans and a black mock turtleneck along with a halo and wings, and introduces the tablet created by Action Electronics.
According to ABC News, the commercial, which has been posted on YouTube, was widely "disliked" on the site's voting system.
"Beyond distasteful ... boycott company," said one.
"This is ridiculous. Show some respect for Steve Jobs," said another.
However, the commercial also has comments in its.
"Haha this is awesome. If you don't see the funny side to this then there is something seriously wrong with ya," read a comment.
Meanwhile, Action Electronics has defended itself by saying, "Steve Jobs always promoted things that were good for people, Apple products, therefore his image can also promote other things that are good." (ANI)
