London, Feb 3 (ANI): Gwyneth Paltrow has sparked outrage by saying that the secret behind a successful marriage is for a wife to pamper her man.
The 39-year-old said that the lady of the house should have dinner ready on the table when the husband gets in.
And she advises mothers to quit their jobs to stay at home with the children.
She admitted her views will be seen as anti-feminist, but she insisted that marriage is all about "compromise".
"I have little kids in school. I want to maintain my marriage and my family, so I have to be here when he comes home," the Daily Star quoted her as telling Harper's Bazaar magazine.
"This may not be feminist, but you have to compromise.
"If you want a family you have to be a wife and that is part of the equation," she added. (ANI)
