London, Feb 2 (ANI): Gwyneth Paltrow has said that women who want children should be stay at home mothers.
The 39-year-old actress, who won an Oscar for her role in 'Shakespeare in Love', said she cooks for her husband, 'Coldplay' star Chris Martin, and bathes their children, Apple 7, and Moses, 5.
She rises at 7am and works on her website and cookery books while her children are at school, before preparing dinner for her husband when he returns from work to their 6 million pounds home in London.
"I have little kids in school. I want to maintain my marriage and my family, so I have to be here when he (Martin) comes home," the Telegraph quoted her as telling Harper's Bazaar magazine.
The actress also described the advice she gave to one of her friends.
"She is an actress and in a new relationship with someone else with a big career, and I said this may not be feminist, but you have to compromise.
"It's been all about you and you're a big deal. And if you want what you're saying you want - a family - you have to be a wife, and that is part of the equation.
"We've been married for more than eight years now, and we're still into it.
"I think you do fall in and out of love and you just keep going, and every time you go through a really difficult phase, you rediscover something new and it just gets better," she added. (ANI)
