London, Feb 1 (ANI): David Beckham, whose new underwear ad for H and M is set to debut during the American NFL championship final on Feb 5, has revealed that he is "very passionate" about briefs.
In the 30-second black-and-white advert set to the song 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' by The Animals, the LA Galaxy star sports underwear from his own bodywear line called 'David Beckham Bodywear by H and M'.
"I love underwear," the Telegraph quoted the footballer as saying.
"It's as simple as that.
"We all wear it. We all have to wear it at times so obviously it was something that I wanted to go into, something that I was very passionate about and also something that I created myself so... you know it's very personal to me and I'm very proud of it," he added.
The ad will air during Sunday's Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants American football teams.
A hand-painted billboard of the footballer will also go on display in New York's Herald Square.
The fashion line, which includes boxers, briefs, tanks, shorts and t-shirts will be available in H and M stores from Feb 2. (ANI)
