Melbourne, Jan 31 (ANI): A diehard Djokovic female fan has pleaded for the return of the sweaty shirt the World No. 1 tossed to her after his epic Australian Open victory.
Melissa Cook dreamed of adding a personal trophy to the "Novak Wall" in her bedroom, but the 14-year-old stood in stunned shock, as the shirt tossed her way by the tennis champion was snatched by a woman standing nearby.
"I started crying because I couldn't believe that something I truly believe he meant for me was taken by someone else," News.com.au quoted the teen as saying.
"I had been yelling out to him the whole match and he had looked up and acknowledged me and then at the end he came straight over to my direction and threw the shirt up," she added. (ANI)
