Melbourne, Jan 31(ANI): Indian skipper MS Dhoni has said he is excited about facing Australia's new Twenty20 skipper George Bailey in the two matches to be held this week.
Dhoni, who is Bailey's team-mate in the Indian Premier League, said the Australian selectors have made the right decision in appointing him captain for the T20 series against India.
"He's an interesting character, he plays good cricket, he's someone who can play his strokes, he's very intelligent and understands the game well. He's a really good character to have," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Bailey, as saying.honi also said his team's youngsters are looking forward to taking on left-arm spinner Brad Hogg, 40, in the Twenty20 series against Australia.
"Brad's an experienced guy and what we have seen is spinners are wily, the more they age the better they get. He's also someone who has done well in the T20 locally over here so it'll be a nice contest between the youngsters and him," he said.(ANI)
