Islamabad, Jan 28 (ANI): Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has decided to postpone his return to Pakistan, one of his aides has said.
Earlier, Musharraf had vowed to end his self-imposed exile and fly back to Pakistan by the end of this month to revive his political career.
The BBC quoted Mohammad Saif, General Secretary of Musharraf's All Pakistan Muslim League, as saying: "General Musharraf will return to Pakistan, that's for sure.ut we are waiting for the tension between the government and the Supreme Court to subside.
Musharraf, who is accused of failing to provide adequate security to former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto ahead of her assassination in 2007, faces arrest on arrival.
Although Musharraf denies any wrongdoing, Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani repeated on Friday that the former ruler would be arrested if he returned to the country. (ANI)
