Nick Cannon struggling to get his six-pack back

Washington, Jan 27 (ANI): Nick Cannon, who was recently hospitalized for "mild kidney failure," has revealed that he wants to get back in shape.

His recent illness had forced him to put his exercise routine on hold.

"My doctor said today is the first day that I can work out again," Us Magazine quoted Cannon as tweeting.

"I got to get back to fight weight! The Hulk is on his way back!" he wrote.

Cannon, who is married to pop diva Mariah Carey, admitted that his recent health scare will make working out more challenging.

"Getting back in shape is going to be tough. The doctor said because of my condition, my body can't process protein and that's what builds muscle," he said.

"Time to work smarter not harder...but I got to get right by the time America's Got Talent starts!" he added.

The actor and father of twins Moroccan and Monroe says the toughest part will be getting his six-pack abs back "on this renal diet."

"Skinny with a gut is not fresh. Right now in my tank-top I look like Samuel L. Jackson in Black Snake Moan. I need to get back in shape," he said. (ANI)
