Heidi Klum's family 'very sad' about split with Seal

London, Jan 24 (ANI): Heidi Klum's family is "very sad" about her shock split from Seal, according to the supermodel's father, Gunther.

Reports that the stars, thought to be one of Hollywood's strongest couples, were set to divorce emerged on Saturday, and they confirmed the separation on Sunday.

In a joint statement, the couple, known for renewing their wedding vows every year, declared their decision of going their separate ways.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the statement read.

"We are very sad," the Daily Express quoted Gunther as telling Us magazine. (ANI)
