Islamabad, Jan 23 (ANI): The dean faculty of fisheries and wildlife of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Professor Dr Muhammad Akram, has said that egg consumption in India is far more than that in Pakistan.
The Nation quoted Professor Akram as saying that Pakistan's egg consumption is 67 per person per year, as compared to 92 per person per year in India.
Pakistan's egg consumption of 67 per person per year is far less than the average of 350 eggs per person in advanced countries.
While India is reportedly producing 2,740,000 million eggs every year, Pakistan had a production of 12,800 million eggs, he said. (ANI)
