Police seize explosives in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, Jan 19 (ANI): Police in Jharkhand's Dhanbad District have seized a huge cache of explosives, including 2000 detonators and a quintal of ammonium nitrate.

"Today, at about 3 pm, we received information that explosives would be found in a village in the area, based on which we carried out a search operation with our team. We recovered 2000 detonators and 115 kg of ammonium nitrate that was brought from Andhra Pradesh and also 250 meters of wire used for explosions," said Ramesh Kumar, a policeman. (ANI)
