Islamabad, Jan 19(ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that recent meetings between Pakistan and India have helped reduce the trust deficit between the two sides.
He reiterated his government's resolve to having a constructive, sustained and result-oriented process of engagement with India, including on the Jammu and Kashmir issue.
He was addressing a delegation of Indian parliamentarians, which had called on him at the Prime Minister's House, The Daily Times reports.
Gilani recalled his meetings with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Sharm el Sheikh, Thimpu, Mohali and Maldives on the sidelines of the NAM and SAARC Summit.
Gilani said his interactions with Indian officials in Mohali had paved the way for a meaningful dialogue process.
The Indian delegation said that trade between both countries could touch the 15 billion dollar mark, surpassing the current two billion dollar level. (ANI)
