Presidential convoy not target of attack in Chhatisgarh: President Office

New Delhi, Sept 29 (ANI): The President's office has clarified that there has been no attack on the convoy of President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, during her visit to Chhattisgarh today, as reported by some sections of the media.

A Rashtrapati Bhawan Spokesperson on Monday said that the President was not traveling by road as she travelled from Chitrakut to Raipur by helicopter.

President Patil visited the famous Chitrakoot water fall in the Bastar District of Chhattisgarh today.

The President is on a two-day visit to the State which began on Sunday.

She is scheduled to grace the golden jubilee celebration of the D.B. Girls' College in Raipur later in the day and will return to New Delhi in the evening. (ANI)
