Khajuraho, Jan 13 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Thursday said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and noted writer Arundhati Roy should be prosecuted for questioning the status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally here, Chauhan lashed out at both Omar Abdullah and Arundhati Roy.
"People like Kashmir's Chief Minister who says that whether Kashmir will unite with India is not yet finalised and Arundhati Roy who considers herself intelligent and questions the diversity and integrity of India, such people should be sent to jail and should not be allowed to stay in India," he observed.
Chauhan said the Central Government should understand that the Kashmir imbroglio to be discussed is regarding the Kashmir that is under Pakistan occupation and not with the region that already belongs to India.
"We want to tell the Central Government in New Delhi that the matter today is not about the Kashmir that belongs to us because it has been only ours since time immemorial. But, if Pakistan says, that Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir then we have to say that India is incomplete without Pakistan," said Chauhan.
He noted the BJP would take the cudgel to retain the possession of Kashmir region lying with Pakistan so as to regain the glory of the region. (ANI)
