Patiala, Sept 29 (ANI): Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is likely to be arrested on Monday for allegedly assaulting photo journalists during the shoot of a film here last night.
Following a tiff with photo journalists, the Railway Police have registered a case against Saif for allegedly threatening to kill and assault after the journalists lodged a complaint against him and his security guards on the charge of manhandling them.
The case was registered under sections 506 (threatening to kill), 341 (assaulting), 536 (cause of damage) of IPC, sources said.
According to reports, two photo journalists -- one belonging to a newspaper and the other to local TV news channel -- were trying to click photographs of Saif at the railway station where the shooting of the film, named 'Three Idiots', was on.
When they were taking shots of the shooting of the movie, Saif objected and his security staff allegedly took away the cameras of the duo.
The actor lodged a complaint against them with the railway police station of Patiala.
The two journalists also lodged a complaint against Saif and his security guards on the charge of manhandling them.
However, investigations are still on in this connection. (ANI)
