Jan 05: Britney spears, a famous US pop star, whose songs and dance steps naturally compel her fans to dance on her tunes, found herself to move steps pathetically on family court's order-‘tunes' on Thursday night, when she lost custody of her two toddlers to her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Few hours after hearing of the case she was taken to the Los Angeles hospital for observation as a special need of patients.
The court commissioner, Scott Gordon also suspended visitation rights of troubled pop star, who was earlier granted visitation three days in a week. Gordon said that next hearing would be held in January 14, till that she's not allowed to visit her two children.
Earlier her visitation right was suspended in October last year, but was allowed to monitor her children three times a week.
On Thursday night she had refused to handover her two children two year old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James to her ex-husband and locked her in bathroom after that police were called to intervene at her Los Angeles residence.
The police arrived at 8, and, a police supervisor said Ms. Spears had been “incoherent and arguing with officers in a way that made no sense.� It took two to three hours to resolve the conflict, said Ana Aguirre.
"I'm not happy about any of these events," Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said when he left a closed-door emergency hearing on Friday afternoon. "There are no winners here." Kaplan said Federline was not in court at the time of hearing.
Federline earlier had been awarded temporary custody of her two children after her defiance to the court order, resulting in limitation of her visiting.
Vincent Kaplan had earlier persuaded commissioner of Los Angeles Family Court, who was supervising the custody fight, to award his client sole legal and physical custody of their children and to suspend Britney's visitation rights, a court spokesperson said.
In contrast, Britney's lawyer Sorrell Trope said, he expected her to regain custody of two toddlers.
The next hearing has to be set on January 14, while Britney was on constant vigil by police official in the Los Angeles hospital.
