Surat (Gujarat), Oct 26 (ANI): Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has refuted all reports of teammate Suresh Raina's alleged association with any bookmaker during Team India's Sri Lanka Tour.
Dhoni said that the allegations are baseless.
"I think it is baseless. Exactly, I cannot speak, as I have no clue from where it started and to what extent it has gone. The concerned authorities like Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sri Lankan Cricket Board, Anti-corruption board and International Cricket Council (ICC) have all given their reactions and their take on it," said Dhoni, while addressing the media persons here on Monday.
Dhoni was present here along with legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev to inaugurate a hotel.
The recent controversy surfaced when the London-based 'Sunday Times', reported that Raina was seen more than once in the company of a woman known to be an associate of a man allegedly linked to a bookmaker. (ANI)
