Dec 12: Guess and let others to make guess – is the new mantra of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, who has dominated the Telugu film industry for three decades.
Whether his entering into the political arena is a gossip or the becoming reality - GOD knows but, amidst these speculations other political parties are not behind to cash Chiranjeevi’s personality cult into politics.
Communist party of India is the first political party in southern state of Andhra Pradesh, which offered openly to the megastar in terms of forming an alliance or working with them as a third alternative to the two failed parties, if he forms his own new political party.
CPI state secretary K Narayana opines that people were totally dissatisfied with the working or no working of Congress and Telugu Desam party and the people are thinking seriously in terms of the third alternative to these two parties. In this grave situation a new political party proposed to be set up by Chiranjeevi would indeed be welcome by the people.
Addressing the journalists at the forum of three-day district convention of the party on Tuesday he said that he welcomed Chiranjeevi to start a new political party and to infuse new young blood into politics that would address grievances of the people.
Whether his party makes alliance with the proposed newly formed Chiranjeevi’s party would rely on the then situation and if their thoughts match, they would definitely work together.
The controversial issue dominating others these days in the state is related to the allotment of assigned lands to the landlords and moneylenders and if poor people still be neglected they would go for statewide agitation. Mr. Narayan further said that his party state convention at Tirupati from December 19 to 23 would discuss primarily on the land allotment to the poor.
Discussing back to the megastar Chiranjeevi, although he has not spoken openly for the formation of new party but simultaneously has not denied or confirmed the buzz over his political plunge into politics; instead saying to his zealots fans to keep restraint until he speaks out.
Secret internal information reveals that he is floating between two minds and wanted to test water first.
According to sources close to Chiru, as he is popularly known among his friends, will launch his own political party in the New Year.
The entire major political parties in South either the Congress or the TDP or the other dominant parties comprising Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) and the Communist Party of India (CPM) have reacted cautiously to a media reports suggesting the superstar’s chances of plunge into the Andhra Pradesh politics in January 2008. Assembly elections are due in the state in 2009.
"This is a hypothetical question. How can I respond to it," the first reaction of former Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu came in this way. TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao said Chiranjeevi's entry into politics would have no impact in Telangana - for whose statehood his party is fighting.
Chiranjeevi’s plunge into politics threatening to other parties
If we look at the Southern States politics we find that whoever renowned filmi personality plunged into politics have proved a strong contender to the other parties either M G Ramachandran, who founded ADMK party later named the AIADMK or Jayalalithaa Jayaram, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Above all not hidden to anybody that if superstar Rajnikant, who is as respectable as GOD among southern people, enter into politics – who would have dare to make him defeat?
Chiranjeevi so far has acted in 148 films in his film career of 30 years commands the highest remuneration in the country for acting and has adoring fans all over the state.
Chiranjeevi will be the second Telugu hero to enter politics after N T Rama Rao, who formed Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982 after an illustrious film career.

December 13, 2007 at 12:00 AMPolitical entry of Megastar Chiranjeevi in the AP is the appreciable action at this juncture. Because the two leading parties in AP are failed to fetch the AP into a developed state from all corners. These two parties are just fighting for power but not having an aim to serve the state at large. Basically, Megastar became from a middle class family and definitely everybody has to recongnise his voluntary services towards AP. He is a real man in kind hence definetely he works for the state and he re-writes the history of politics. Simply he is a ethical person. At this point different communities, other political parties and individual rivals of Megastar are making wrong statements to the public so as to he will loose the trust among the different communities which is a absolute wrong action to define a personality like Chiranjeevi. I hope Megastar will take a righ decision with a sound knowldege to stand bold before all these. There are majority of people vote for Chiranjeevi those who are silent favourite to Chiranjeevi. All the best to Megastar.

December 12, 2007 at 12:00 AMmy general comment is that now in andhara vote bank is divided more or less in two or three major groups. and mainly the SC, ST, and other minorities are being neglected. so ther day the union of the minorities made the major paries to think of theri fate. so this new news about Megastar is not a big one because the present people are not really mad. so who ever comes they must have a common and democratric motivation then only we can say that they can be more powerful and popular then successful ones. so Chiru comming into the politics is not a ig thing but he must become a megastar in this firld of politics by bringing a just party system in Andhra.
Sir,
Please enter to the politics for good service in the society.please earliest to the politics.
