Four Maoists arrested in Chhattisgarh

Kanker (Chhattisgarh), Aug 11 (ANI): Four Maoists were arrested in Chhattisgarh's Kanker region on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, the police nabbed them from a dense forest near Kanker and recovered two guns and Maoist literature from them.

"The local contingent of police confronted the youth and asked for identification. After their identity was established as radical ultras, the youth were immediately arrested. They will now be sent to judicial custody," said B.P. Takale, Sub-Inspector of Police in Kanker.

Chhattisgarh is one of the most highly Naxal infested State in the country. (ANI)
