It may be recalled that a total of 299 inmates, including 110 Naxal activists fled from the Dantewada Jail in Chhattisgarh, located about 375 kilometers from the state capital Raipur.

The prisoners escaped after overpowering jail guards. Three of the five guards were indulged in the incident.

"We have recovered a gun, some tiffin bombs, batteries, electric wire, detonators, Naxalite material from them," Longkumer added.
