May 16: Another controversy in the tinsel town, lead actress of Bollywood flick “Raqeeb�, Tanushree Datta claims she never did the “bold� scenes, which has been refuted by the film maker.
The controversy started just two days before film is going to be screened through out country. Actress claims that a body double was used for the “bold� scenes and film maker passes them as original the main actress. “I never did the scenes and he is presenting them of mine. A body double was used�, Tanushree said while talking to a news channel.
Meanwhile, Raj Kunwar refutes the claim. “We never used any body double, whatever scenes are there in the film has been done by Tanushree Datta and there is no need to deny that,� he said.
While making the claim Kunwar revealed that if anybody proves that a body double has been used in the film –Raqeeb – then he is ready to loose anything.
From last few films Tanushree is trying to change her glamorous image but with little success. Tanushree was seen exchanging kisses in ‘Ashiq Banaya Aapnay’ with Imran Hashmi. Even in her latest film ‘Good Boy Bad Boy’, she has been portrayed as “next bold thing�.
Taking hints from the latest controversy, Bollywood observers claim that this is just another attempted controversy to help film on Friday. Positive or negative, publicity increases the salability of anything which can be a film also.
Controversy and Bollywood always remained attached with each other. Recently it was the ‘kiss� episode involving bollywwod actress Shilpa Shetty and hollywwod actor Richard Gere. Even item girl Rakhi sawant tried her bit to increase her salability while as TV presenter, Mandira Bedi, remained in the news for very wrong reasons.
