There is a Southall United football club losing its sheen but somewhere holding the dream that it will soar back to the limelight.
Then there is a villain the head of city council and a commentator who are in a drive to grab the large plot of land with this Southall United club.
They highlight the club’s disastrous performance and threaten to take the land if things did not change.
But the owner of the club holding his dream near his heart tries to save this piece of land.
The film has a ‘Chak De’ colour when an ex-celebrated player is roped in to coach the team.
And here comes the entry of our hero Sunny Bhasin (John Abraham) who aspires to become a member of British Team but fate brought him here in this team, which is under pressure.
And then the battle takes a new turn, whether John can add his part or he too succumbs to the surmounting pressure.
But the charisma of a goal will be here that can be described by the beautiful song sung by Eiffle 65…
