Patna, Sept 22 (ANI): A dismissed sepoy of the Indian Army, working as an alleged Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent, has been arrested with some important military documents in Patna.
Acting on a tip-off by the Intelligence Bureau and other Intelligence agencies, he was arrested from a place under Kankarbagh police station by the Special Task Force of Bihar Police here last evening.
The arrested person was identified as Sudhanshu Sudhakar. He has been booked under the Official Secrets Act.
According to Bihar police, the documents give details related to western side of the Indo-Pak border.
"In initial interrogation, Sudhakar informed that he has lot of documents containing information related to (Indian) army and army deployment that he was going to share with Kathmandu based ISI member," said Vinit Vinayak, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Patna.
"It is very important to inform that in Secunderabad, the unit Sudhakar was told to divulge information, was related to missiles. Apart from this, he was asked to provide information about ordinance factory going to be established in Rajgir region of Bihar and EME units in Jammu and Kashmir. Documents that we recovered mentions information related to this," Vinayak added. (ANI)
