Nine orissa cops killed in landmine explosion

Bhubaneshwar June18(ANI): In a landmine blast triggered by the Maoists, nine police men of the orissa special strike force (OSSF) were killed in ogi Pallur in Koraput district.

 

According to Orissa Director General of Police Manmohan Praharaj, the jeep in which the Orrissa Special Strike Force (OSSF) were traveling to Maoist affected Narayanptna to Laxmipur, was blown up using remote control detonators.

 

The CRPF personnel who rushed to the spot after the incidents also came under fire from the Maoists. (ANI)
