Anand Sharma, the Union Commerce and Industry Minister on Friday said that India is providing a stable policy regime through its Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
Addressing a national seminar on Foreign Trade Policy organized by FICCI in the capital, Sharma said: "We have persisted in providing a stable policy regime through our Foreign Trade Policy which has provided a measure of confidence and continuity for our exporting community."

Petrol price slashed for around Rs 2 by the oil marketing companies with effect to Saturday night, thanks to the fall in the global crude oil prices. GDP growth rate slips to 5.3 percent, sharpest dip in 9 years

Indian GDP witnessed a growth rate of 5.3 percent in the forth quarter of 2011-12 according to figures released by the Central Statistical Office. Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday disclosed the figure that was really alarming and even worst than the last quarter’s 6.1%.
