Honduras ? the ancient land of the Mayas
In the ancient times Honduras was the land of many important civilizations, the most significant one of them being the Mayas. After Honduras gained independence in 1821, the country has become a republic.
The economy of the country of Honduras is mainly depended on agriculture. Honduras exports coffee and bananas; and they are also into pisciculture. Shrimps are also exported by Honduras.
