October 17, 2012 at 11:35 PMRight the time after opening the Government College, Sheila Dixit has never looked back towards the condition of the technical college providing the engineering education.
For span of 6 years, students were been waiting about some positive upliftments of college. Alas, it never came till now. So only option in everybody's mind was to do this.
We have following few points to be asked to CM tomorrow at her office at 9:30 am :
round the corner. Few majorly faced problems are below.
1. No Permanent Faculty not even Principal and Dean.
2. No Permanent T.P.O. (Training & Placement Officer) from 5 years.
3. No hostel in campus (though it was assured to students at the time taking admission in information brochures), temporary hostel is of another college which is 24 km. away from college without any transport facility between hostel and college.
4. Funds are not properly utilized, poor sanction of funds for annual fest, and other cultural activity.
5. Not sufficient number of faculties, and those who are on contractual basis they are not eligible to teach a B.Tech. Student and students are not satisfied with their teaching skills as teachers have just completed their graduation.
6. No initiative had been taken for placement neither by TPO nor by Principal. Quoting we are not here for your Placement.
7. Location of Campus is not allowing to serve most of the purpose of ours
8. There is an Auditorium which is under construction for past five years, no gym, no swimming pool and no ground for most of the indoor and outdoor games.
9. Most of the labs are not well equipped and most important labs have not been yet installed (Structural Engineering Lab, Software Engineering Lab and many more)
10. No dedicated internet room, common study room, discussion room etc.
11. Infrastructure of our college is too poor; no further construction had been done.
12. Poor sanitation.
13. Lack of technology in our college, no WLAN, No Wi-Fi hotspot, No LAN, No smart classes.
14. Scarcity of temporary faculties in the college.
15. No Utilization of NGF (Non Government Fund).
